Guest Lecture by Ali Kamen on Oct. 10th

In tomorrow’s Medical Augmented Reality lecture, Ali Kamen from Siemens Corporate Research in Princeton is giving a talk about the RAMP-system (Reality Augmentation for Medical Procedures), a stereoscopic video see-through head-mounted display. Everyone interested may feel free to join in Malone 107 at 9am.

Ali Kamen has been with Siemens for the past decade working on various early concept project. He successfully lead teams to develop several differentiating Siemens products including ultrasound navigation and fusion system (e.g., eSieFusion) and 2D/3D x-ray and 3D CT based navigation system for patient positioning and radiotherapy and interventional radiology (RTT Patient Position Verification). He has more than 100 peer reviewed scientific publications, and more than 75 granted and pending patents.
